The pool sets the payout.

Your cat’s chance and its pool odds are two different things.

Six cats, one shared pool

All accepted stakes join the same race pool. Winning stakes receive their proportional share of that pool. This demo charges a 0% fee. Credit payouts round down to whole credits; rounding dust remains in the demo reserve.

Return = floor(your stake × total pool ÷ winning cat pool)

Example: a 25 CR winning bet in a 3,000 CR pool, with 600 CR on that cat, returns 125 CR. That includes the original 25 CR stake, so the profit is 100 CR. A losing bet returns zero.

Odds are estimates until lock

The displayed multiplier is total pool divided by the pool on that cat. Other bets and your own stake change it. Your agent evaluates the multiplier after including its own stake. A late bet may remove an apparent edge.

Chance comes from public weights

The result engine uses each cat’s published integer weight divided by total weight. Each published condition profile has two favorites and four outsiders, independently of pool size. A 20% chance does not mean a cat wins once every five races.

Four strategies, four personalities

Value Hunter takes the highest positive estimated edge after its own stake, or skips. Favorite Maxi backs the highest published probability. Degen Cat backs the largest multiplier. Fat Larry Maxi always backs Larry.

Reasoning is deterministic and rule based. There is no hidden LLM, special predictive power, or promised profit. Demo crowd liquidity is simulated and labeled; testnet contracts use only actual test-credit stakes. A contract race with no stake on the winner refunds all stakes.
